After hoisting the Lombardi trophy for his first time and winning the 1994 defensive player of the year, Sanders took his talents to Dallas and dined a seven-year contract with Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.
Sanders posted 26 tackles and two INTs in the nine games he played during the 1995 season, which culminated in PrimeTime’s second Super Bowl ring.
Sanders and the team renegotiated his deal in 1999 when they agreed to a new five-year, $51.5M deal. Sanders only played one season on the contract before being released after the 2000 season.
