Rod Woodson Free Agent Summary
After Woodson made seven Pro Bowls and five 1st-Team All-Pro teams in ten seasons with the Pittsburgh #Steelers and playing a one-year stint with the #49ers, he signed this three-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.
Woodson renegotiated his contract in each of his four seasons in Baltimore. He recorded 303 tackles, 20 INT, 3 FF, 6 FR and 5 TD, while making the Pro Bowl in two of those seasons. He was also a part of one of the greatest defenses in #NFLHistory: the 2000 Ravens who won Super Bowl XXXV.
Woodson finished his career with two seasons in Oakland and retired after the 2003 season. In 17 seasons, Woodson recorded 71 INT, 13.5 sacks, 32 FR, 12 FF and 13 and won the 1993 Defensive Player of the Year award. He was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a first-ballot inductee in 2009.
